Q: We want a Mark Garland Home, how do we
get started?

Q: Do you provide the house plan or may I bring my own?
A: We have many house plans to choose from, but if
you wish, you may bring your own. We will work together to
make your dream home happen.
Q: Are you able to build my home anywhere in Texas?
A: Like most builders, we tend to build closest to
home. We are building in the Sherman, Texas area but plan to
expand into Pottsboro and Denison.
Q: Do you use brand name products in your homes?
A: If you have walked through any of our homes, you will
know that we build with only the best! Quality is why we
have the reputation that we do. Please see "our success"
page for more details of the quality products we build with.
Q: How long does the building process take?
A: This is the most asked question, and it is the
hardest to answer. The size of your home, the products you
choose, and the weather are the determining factors. Here's
a general rule of thumb: Homes that are 3,000 square foot
and under usually take about 6 months. Homes that are 3,200
square foot and over, take about 7 to 8 months.
Q: May we visit the building site during the construction
phase?
A: Homes that are under construction are dangerous
places, so for your safety, we require "walk thru's" with
the builder.
Q: Can I buy a home directly through you, or do you list
your homes with a realtor?
A: We will custom build the home of your choosing
directly. We build homes not under contract that we list
with a realtor.
Q: Do you provide "walk thru's" like other builder's do?
A: We encourage it! Please call for an appointment,
and we'll show you first hand what you will be getting.

Q: How do I obtain financing, I want a Mark Garland Home?
A: We have a lender that we highly recommend, but you
may use a finance institution of choice. Many people use the
bank they bank at. Talk with a loan officer about your
plans.
